downy – 無題 (Mudai 3) Review
Considering that downy titled all their albums 無題 and are only really known by the number of which they were released, it’s difficult to really recommend where to start.
With their atmospheric rock style that appears to change album to album and even song to song; the third iteration of Mudai feels darker. It borders on a strong influence of Envy-sounding songs and a constant attempt to reach a crescendo that the album never hits.
It’s a moody album, but still very interesting to listen through. The nine songs on the album are impressive, but even when compared to the other Mudai releases, it is the slowest in tone.
