B.B. Pucks have done something I thought impossible. They brought back pop punk in the form that was my favorite when I was in high school. Unassuming and just upbeat and fun to listen to, 100% Pure Rock Extract have brought back many memories.

I think the EP is one of the best releases for 2011 just because it brings back a lost genre of music. The music is simple and catchy and the recording of the album has a small lack of polish which makes it even more fun to listen to.

It is impossible to go wrong with B.B. Punks. And you should listen to them right now.
