Broken Doll released Get Crunk! in 2010. Listening through the six song release reminds me that Japanese musicians really do whatever they feel like.

The music is a mixture of garage rock, punk, and noise rock. It doesn’t prefer any one particular genre which keeps in interesting, but there is a strange repetition of the music regardless of how the songs might sound different from each other.

Get Crunk! is a fun distraction from recognizable Japanese punk, but it doesn’t feel really original. It’s not boring, but don’t expect anything really amazing.
