Cowpers – Every Little Singles Review

Strangely enough, Cowpers don’t sound that Japanese, but more United States hardcore. Their 1998 album really shows off this unknown or known influence in their music.

The twelve song album has hardcore, punk, screamo, and rock tones throughout the album. It’s a great album to consider where Japanese music has gone. They have a Hot Water Music tone in their music, which is the closest comparison that I can find.

I don’t think it’s possible to find a band quite like Cowpers inside Japan and their album Every Little Singles proves that very well.
