mudy on the 昨晩 have been one of those long standing bands with me. They release albums that I listen to consistently for months and then move on, only to have a new album release and I get trapped in their music all over again.

Mudy in Squall is like that. While similar to the band’s math-rock, instrumental style; there is a definite evolution of the music into more experimental playing. mudy on the 昨晩 is still mudy on the 昨晩, but they look like they wanted to branch out a bit.

Mudy in Squall is not as technical as their previous albums, but they still play some of the most technical rock music from Japan.

Expect a similar sound, but one that has evolved.
