I’m never against using electronica in any type of music. Somehow it can fit math-rock the best. Miaou’s album could even be a good standard of how to use the addition of synth in instrumental music flow.

Make These Things Alright works the best when it combines math-rock and shoegaze together without adding an insanely fast tempo. I think the album is one of the best combination albums in Japan and even though it was released in 2005, there is a lot that still sounds familiar today.

It’s a superb album for the two genres, and aspiring musicians should take a listen. They could learn a lot.
