Sleepstalker – Aisle Review

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to find more Korean shoegaze, but with Sleepstalker I have been able to return.

Aisle is interesting because it uses an older sound of shoegaze adding in more melody and slower tempos to create a great ambient sound. It’s really interesting to listen through the five songs on the album, there are vocals on some of the songs which adds another level to the music.

Sleepstalker might be even considered more than just shoegaze because the song “Dur” is more indie. Overall the EP is great and with the release being a 2011 album, it shows that the genre is still alive.
