자우림 (Jaurim) – A/W Collection Review
It’s probably not entirely great to review a “Best of” album when I haven’t really dived into their other releases. But considering the long history of the band, I think A/W Collection is the best way for a new listener to come into the band.
Their latest album, Conspiracy, was the return for the band after being away from the music scene.
A/W Collection sounds a bit rougher than that album. Containing seventeen songs, there is a lot of different styles to listen to. The only difficult thing with the album is there isn’t a real frame of reference of when each song is from.
But take the different rock styles that Jaurim has used and listeners will come away insanely impressed or liking only a few songs. With long-standing bands, their sound has to evolve and A/W Collection shows that off perfectly.
