With the many different styles of hip-hop artists, Basick is one of the more melodic in verse. His songs use samples that favor simpler beats and focus on the delivery of the lyrics.

The album is fun to listen to because it doesn’t have that overly aggressive tone and sounds like older hip-hop. That is the best strength of Classick – the album title perfectly describes the sound. It’s gret to listen to an a new release that still uses an older sample arrangement.

Bassick’s Classick is a great hip-hop album for 2011.
