4minute – Ready Go Review
For as much as I enjoy 4minute and their continuing improvement, their single for Japan should have been titled “Repetition” because that’s what the entire song is.
A three and a half minute song works to repeat the same English until it’s burned into the brain and then the strange change in preference to lead singers and how they divvy the singing parts might cater more to the tastes of Japan, but overall the single is poor.
Add “Sweet Sugar Honey!” which focuses on adding additional sound effects in the verses and there is another lost single that doesn’t speak to any particular demographic. 4minute is going through the same thing in Japan as they are in Korea: personality disorder.
