nano.RIPE – 星の夜の脈の音の (Hoshi no Yoru no Myaku no Oto no) Review

2011 brought nano.RIPE’s full-length album. Again, it is full of core sounds and standard arrangements. It’s sad that the band doesn’t look into more variety in their music because after listening to many of their releases, they sound much more like an OST band.

I can see almost any of their songs working as soundtracks to dramas or movies. The fourteen songs on the album are good, but they all highlight the same moments and verses.

Even though the songs do have more differences between each other, in the end it’s based off the song list rather than actual variety.

I do think that nano-RIPE are talented, but they are producing music that is way to recognizable.
