nano.RIPE’s 2009 EP is a bit more of the same, but adds a little more variety. There is a progression in the music and even though the EP again does have the standard arrangements, they do explore slower tempos.

I do think the high-pitch of the vocalist does change how the music comes across. It sounds a little cleaner than it should be because the instrumentals are excellent, but the vocals sounds almost Jpop in character.

The album doesn’t produce much different from their 2008 EP and again is a solid release, but don’t expect a lot of surprise you.
