nano.RIPE – 空飛ぶクツ (Sora Tobu Kutsu) Review

It’s not uncommon to hear more core styles in Japanese rock than Korean rock. nano.RIPE are another band that play rock music highlighted with a female vocalist with a higher register and a mixture of rock and indie.

Their EP is solid and has well arranged songs. There’s nothing new on the album though, it follows most of the conventions of other bands by having quickly moving verses and almost half-time choruses.

It doesn’t take away from the abilities of the band, but there is a lot of repetition. Their playing style is a lighter mix of Straightener and Art-School.

But even when following the conventions, nano.RIPE have released an interesting EP.
