Dolphin Peace – Shiroi Machi Review

Dolphin Peace was a random find based off looking for new music from Japan. I’m partial to Japanese rock and punk more so than anything else and the album is from 2003.

There hasn’t been a lot of punk releasing lately and Dolphin Peace’s sound is some really what I like about the genre. It’s pop and rock, close to pop punk, but has a different energy in the performance.

The EP is short with only five songs, but it does show all the talent of the band quite well. The female vocals really shine with the music and the variety of music highlights their talent.

Maybe I need to search the early 2000s for “new” music.
