Burnt Out House – Talk Review

Burnt Out House’s five song EP shows the potential of the band. They are playing an older style of rock, using slower tempos and more melodic arrangements that follow the vocals very closely.

I do enjoy the songs because the emotional response from the vocals is strong. I do think that the band fits very well with popular Korean music, but I don’t know if they could sit on the same stage as currently popular indie rock bands.

Talk sounds very commercial, so while I like them music, I can’t get past the very standard construction of the songs. As a first EP, there’s a lot of great moments surrounded by standard filling.
