아이유 (IU) – iu…im Review

It’s strange to see the evolution of IU’s releases and how different each one is. With iu…im, it sounded like her company was trying to create another solo Kpop singer, but her vocal talent sits far beyond simple pop songs.

IU is best when her vocals are challenged, usually on ballads. I’ll even admit though, that I do like her voice on the occasional straight pop song, but there is more ageyo in her delivery than showing her singing ability.

The mini-album has a lot of different styles on it, but focuses on IU’s cute image rather than her abilities. Thankfully, currently she is performing more songs that show her vocal talents.
